cheap room?

I am writer looking for a cheap place to finish a book. I was hoping to rent a room for 100 euros a month. Not looking for nice or frills, just a room to write. Does anyone know if this possible in Essaouira or Morocco??

You will find it very difficult to rent a room for 100 a month.Why don't you just get there, and try to find one .Essaouira became expensive.Try with a family.

I agree with the last poster, I think you will find it impossible to get a room for 100 Euro per month, Local families will rent you room from 10 Euro per night, but you will need to hunt around for a comfortable situation.

You might be able to do so in Molay Idress. I don't have a contact but during the winter months (out of Moussem season ) you can get something for that price.

The way you type it, he has no chance to find it!!!!!! MOULAY IDRISS, 25 km to Meknes, also closed to Fes.

it is possible to get a place Banana village just out agadir is a good place to start.
however ask any hotel receptionist and for a fiver they will find you a place .it just up to you if you want it .however you dont get your fiver back
the main problem is that the locals usually rent out room unfinished at cheep price furnished are for tourists

Try Surfberbere in Taghazout. Ask for James and say you were refered by Kerstin. Can't promise he will go that low but I know he is looking for people to saty long term. Will be a nice place to finish writing a book.
