My husband and I were planning to come down Sunday, November 2, 2008.
Is it just crazy there?? Are shops, restaurants open on Sundays?
I am afraid that the power boat races are possibly going to take over our Key West experience.... Is this what will happen if we come down on that date???

No! There is never a bad time to visit Key West! I have not heard of the powerboat races really disturbing the experience. You know what might be fun? Have you thought of a dinner cruise? That was one of my favorite parts of my vacation... I went on the Sunset Culinaire Dinner Cruise... It all depends on what you want to do. Im sure that you will find plenty of fun things to do at Duval St, or Mallory Square. Nightlife is never dull in Key West. But if there are events going on the time you plan on being in Key West absolutely plan on making all your plans in advance! It will be a lifesaver! Enjoy planning your vacation!
