Punta Cana Travel Forum

Hi. Looking for recommendations re best all-inclusive Punta Cana beach resorts and the best time of the year to go there. I spent two years in Puerto Rico in the Marine Corps in the mid 1960s and did not see any beaches there that were as spectacular as Punta Cana beaches. So it is a must see for me. But there are so many resorts that one hardly knows which to choose. Is there some kind of guidebook that sets out all 24 or so beach resorts? Thanks in advance, Dave.

the best resort dpends on what are you looking for ? if you are travelling with family, friends, kids, alone, in a romantic trip or else...so I could help you if you provide me more details. I live and work in Punta Cana for the past 5 years and i work in tourism industry as well i know most of the resorts so plese let me know what kind of resort you are looking for if cheap or expensive if quiet or full of young people partying all day and night if close to the center or far...whatever, but let me know.

Hi. Thank you.....small, quiet, right on the beach, no loud partying heard as far away as Santo Domingo:), less expensive than some of the rest of the places. It would be a romantic getaway for two. But right on Bavaro beach. Preferably an all-inclusive, as I guess most of them are.
