Bremen Whats on in October?

Got a trip arranged for mid October (17-20 Oct) was wondering if there was anything going on in the city at that time i.e. beer festivals, football games, wine tasting, music etc. Think I plan to do the boat trip and drinking by the shore but would like to see more of the city. Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Just had a football question about Bremen...

They play Dortmund on Oct 18th, so third against fifth placed Bundesliga team, I can imagine it will be a great game.
