and how far is it from the:
1. harbour?
2. places where people celebrate new year?
3. the air port?

I had already answered in another place. But if you check it out on www.googlemaps.com you get a better idea how good the location is.

On the hotel location map and the google map you see the Central Railway station to the south of the hotel. From there you have a direct connection to the airport. The trip does not take longer than 15 minutes.

For the celebrations, get down to Circular Quay for the fireworks.

The harbour is the big gathering place for New Year because of the fireworks. You can easily walk there from the hotel.
