Phoenix trees & colours

Hi,
This may be a silly question ...Will be travelling from Las Vegas to Sedona to Phoenix Late October, early November. What will the trees and colours be like.Hoping for some colour still for pictures. Here in Canada they are changing already and will be gone in a couple of weeks. Is there a big difference from Las Vegas to Phoenix?

I don't think there are many trees in that area. You can get some gorgeous desert photos though. Think rocks, not trees.

Sedona is a wonderful place for fall. Google "Oak Creek Canyon autumn" and you should find some great pictures of what you should expect. Late October will be a little past peak because, as I've been looking into it myself, they're expected to peak in the next couple of weeks. But it still should be nice.
Phoenix and Las Vegas have no foliage themselves. There are areas nearby that have them though, like in the Superstitions east of Phoenix, and in Cedar Breaks or Zion near Vegas. But I would concentrate on the Sedona and Flagstaff (Snowbowl and Lockett Meadow are both great) areas for leaves. Prescott will also have some foliage, but not as much.
