Are there any bus companies that provide transport between Jerusalem/Tel Aviv and Amman that I can book in advance? If not, how easy is travel between the two places?

Hi!I had the very same question before i travelled to these 2 places only last year Nov!!

Buses between the 2 countries are not advisable-quite a long drawn adventure with alot of checkpoints etc.

One option if you'd really like to take a bus is from Eilat way down south in Israel to Amman by bus

A better option which i personally availed,albeit more expensive is a flight from Tel Aviv to Amman n back or the other way around.You can check the Royal Jordanian website for schedules,online bookings,etc.I believe El Al also provides flights between the 2 cities.

If i may add,dont miss Petra if you go all the way to Amman-esp the Petra by Candlelight tour every Wednesday(sorry i forget which other day as well)-simply stunning!!
