Sightseeing in Nantes

I will be spending around 4 to 5 hours in Nantes in the afternoon including the lunch break. How can I fruitfully utilise the time to see around Nantes? Should I travel by a tram? What would be the fare like? If somebody can help me with suggestions it would be most welcome.

Nantes is a nice town, stay around place royale, and visit passage Pommeraye gallery of stores, historical and full of shops, restos, bars etc. Also, the chateau de Ducs de Bretagne is great. The tram is great and cheap, good idea, its about 1,50 euros like a metro fare.
