Hi all.

I'm heading to Albufeira on 25th of September 2008 (this thursday) can anyone tell me what the weather has been like lately and what i can expect, just so i know what to pack etc as i've never been away this late on in the year before, plus any recommendations on where to go for a nice meal and good drink would be appreciated. Unfortunately the weather will not be HOT !!

It rained on and off nearly all day yesterday, Monday. In the early hours of Monday it rained hard enough to cause minor flooding in cellars down in the old town - this is the zone where the street drains are due to replaced this winter, not before time obviously.

Today (Tuesday) it is dry and bright at the moment but a little cloudy and about 70F, rising to 73 or so. Should stay dry.

The local forecast for the next few days says it will be partly cloudy with the possibility of showers. That could mean just about anything so I'd bring a mac.

I agree, the weather this time of year is notoriously hard to predict.

I am goin albufeira next wed,although ive been before i havent been so late in the year so cant comment on the weather but as far as nice meals are concerned i would advise you to head to the old town,there are loadza nice restaurants there by the sea front.when i last went me and my mate would go 4 meals in the old town n then head to the strip after 4 drinks.i would also recommend the little train that drives round,it takes you from the old town and to the strip n vice versa 4 about 3 euros 4 a day pass,plus it runs til the early hours of the morning.Hope this helps n hope ya enjoy albufiera n fingers crossed the weather will be nice.
