naples to sorrento transfer

i shall be arriving at naples airport at 2130 can you tell me the cheapest way to get to sorrento

When I was trying to get from Sorrento to the Naples airport I did a google and found buses that go direct - I ended up doing that with no problems - from Sorrento the airport for 7 euro.

So try that to get an idea of the timetables for the other direction.

I travelled from Naples airport to Sorrento by bus. They go about every hour and cost around 5 euro. It's the most spectacular one-hour journey along the Amalfi Coast. Mary

You can go by bus for Sorrrento from Naples Airport (Napoli Aeroporto) for 10 euro according to the website http://www.curreriviaggi.it/

Curreri buses are excellent: the stop is directly opposite arrivals so you really can't miss it.

By far the best way to get to Sorrento (and back).

Last time I was there we paid 20 euros for a taxi which we agreed in advance with the driver.You might want to consider this given your arrival time.

Taxi fare to Sorrento will be at least 60 euro now, quite possibly more.

If you have missed the last Curreri bus (which is possible) then get an airport bus to Napoli Centrale station, go down a level and take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Journey time is around an hour. Timetables here:

Last year when we were doing the same trip, the last bus left at 19.00 - it did wait for about 15 minutes. So I think you will have to take one of the other options, either taxi or the Circumvesuviana route.

I will suggest at you go by taxi to Napoli - Garibaldi (STAZIONE CENTRALE F.S.) and go by the train of Circumvesuviana to Sorrento at the time you leave there.

I suggest you see if you can find any timetables for those buses that leave from just outside the airport and you might be lucky - they might have a late one in anticipation of the plane whichd be great. and then work around that if none.

Curreri is an absolutely brilliant carrier, but clearly does not think a service is warranted at that time. The last bus leaves at 18:30.

Sorry........wrong way round. The new Curreri site is not as easy to use as the old one.

Last bus from the airport is at 19:30
