I'm planning on taking a bus from Cairo to Jerusalem and then back again. What buses are available for that and what are the days, times, and cost? What would be the best companies to use for bus transportation? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you want a direct bus, you can look here: http://www.mazada.co.il/English/StoreProduct.aspx?Product=105&Category=23. This will be $145 for one-way, twice a week (Sun and Thu). Or, you can take a bus from Cairo to Taba in Sinai, cross the border to Eilat, take a taxi from the border crossing to Eilat's central bus station and then a bus from Eilat to Jerusalem. This is a regular Egged bus and you have several each day (except Saturday and Friday afternoons). You can find details about busses in Israel here: http://www.egged.co.il

better to use local bus from Cairo to taba , as I can see in israeli web about sinai need to cost 55 egypt pund [ 10 USD ] and walk from taba bus station jast 1 k"m till the border with israel pass it and take taxi that shuld cost around 25 NIS [ 7 USD ] , and bus from eilat central bus station to jerusalem cost you 67.5 NIS [ 19 USD ] total cost for one way is 10+7+19=36 USD.

KNOW !!! if you buy return tickets EILAT-JERUSALEM-EILAT you pay jast 115 NIS [33 USD].

Is there a website I can go to so I can check schedules and prices? Or if there isn't do you know if there are night buses from Cairo to Taba and how long it takes? Also how long does it take to get to Jerusalem from Eliat? Thanks for your help!

About the Cairo-Taba bus, you better ask in the Egypt forum, or at least in the Eilat forum. The Jerusalem forum is a not source for information on that.

The bus from Eilat to Jerusalm takes 5 hours and costs 67.50 shekels. There are 4 busses a day, at 7:00, 10:00, 14:15 and 17:00. You can find details about it on http://www.egged.co.il.
