Kazakhstan Travel Forum

I am a Briton living in Korea, and will leave shortly to return to England. I want to leave Korea by ferry to China, travel across China, and fly home from Astana in Kazakhstan, so I need to get a visa for Kazakhstan. Am I able to do this in Korea?? And will I need a letter of invitation etc to enter Kazakhstan?

of course u need visa to enter KZ and better u do it in Korea! i do not think so u'll easily find KZ embassy in China, it soooo BiG! to travel from one city to other it'll take u an half day!:) do it in Korea!
abt Astana, yes it's beautiful, nice, newly build, new capital, with crystal glass buildings but u need it?? i think u got all this in Seoul!
the better u go to Almaty! even it's on ur way if u go by road..to travel from Shanghai to Urumchi (west China) till KZ border where the way lead u direct to Almaty!
enjoy the pleasant mountains Medeo, skate in the ice-rink, even do skiing! the better time to go starting from april till october!
