How far is the Alicante train station to the beaches? How long will it take to get there if taking a taxi from the station?

Look on Google Maps. Takes about 30 minutes walking. probably only a few minutes by taxi. Go past the marina to the city beach at Paseo de Gomiz.

If you walk down the street in front of the train station until you arrive to c/Oscar Esplá, you can take bus number 06 and hop off in the Theatre. From there, you'll have a 5 minutes walk to El Postiguet Beach. Taxi cabs will charge you around 4 euros and you'll be there in 5 minutes.
