Lloret de Mar Travel Forum

Hi. I hope someone can help me as I have been sending emails to spanish transport companies and no replies.

I will be staying at Evenia Olympic Park in Lloret de Mar, and need to get to Figueres and then Empuriabrava.

1. Is it possible to get a direct transfer?
2. What is the best means; bus or train?
3. Where can i find the times as I am on a tight schedule to arrive in Empuriabrava at a certain time.

There are some region bus companies, but if you have a tight schedule, I recommend renting a car. The Costa Brava is not the easiest place to get around by public transport. It can be done, but takes some planning.

This page can be useful for you, you can search the best way for traveling through Catalunya by public transport or by car. I'm afraid that is only in Catalan and Spanish, but I think that you'll understand it. FYI "desde" means from, "hasta" means to or till, and "transbordament" means transfer.
