Does anyone have a review of either or both of these hotels? I am particularly interested in hotel cardinal.

I have stayed in Hotel Cardinale several times and liked it, but that was 15 years ago. The neighborhood is very convenient to the Cours and a pretty street. I lived across the street for Hotel Saint Christophe and always wanted to stay there because the bar and lobby were pretty, but I never saw the rooms. It was a little out of my price range.

It depends on what you are used to. I recommended Cardinale to my yuppie niece who told me she was traveling on a budget. She didn't like it. I now realize that budget to her and to me is something entirely different. She never stays in anything less that 4 stars.
