Weather in Bora Bora (end of Nov, beg. of Dec)

Hi,

We're going to Bora Bora from Nov. 26th to Dec. 8. From all that I've read, it appears that that is the rainy reason...anyone have any experience over there in Nov? I'm so excited about it and would hate for my trip to get rained out!

I have not been there in November but will go there in June. But that is not the point. I just think why so many people - just like you - first book a flight/trip and then ask about the weather, or first book a hotel and then ask if it is good/in a good area, instead of doing the research before the booking... Just a thought.

I haven't paid for the ticket yet, but need to within the week. I am just looking for an opinion from someone who has already done this.

If nobody else answers you could perhaps send emails to VT members who have been there already and ask.

I can tell you about the rain season in Fiji. I was there at the end of the rain season in March. It was rather humid but there was only an hour of rain every day, and the rest sunny, fine and hot.

We will leave in June, so have not been there yet.

In Lonely Planet they write that it is VERY wet in the rainy season which is from November to April.

You better post your question in a new thread. The OP has last signed in on 10 September 2008, and had only been on VT for two days and then never again. So you will surely not get the answer you wish. If you start a new thread you might find some people who have been on Bora Bora during the rain season.
