| Paris | Transport CDG - Asnières sur Seine Posted: Sun September 7, 2008 12:17 PM UTC
Bonjour and hello!
Arriving tomorrow at Paris airport Charles de Gaulle with quite some luggage, I´d like to know how to get to Asnières sur Seine (av.d'Argenteuil) the best way in order not to have to carry my stuff around a lot. Alternatively, do you have any idea of how much a taxi would cost (approximately)? Merci!!! |

Asnières is sort of between La Défense and St. Denis, about 20 km (20-30 mins) from CDG - don't know how much this would be in a taxi, maybe €50. It would be cheaper and not much more complicated (at least if you are arriving at Terminal 1, from where it goes from exit 34 near T1 A and B) to take the Air France bus, line 2, to Porte Maillot (€13) and then take a taxi to Asnières from there (rather than changing to RER C and from there onto metro line 13 to Gabrielle Péri).
See http://www.airfrance.com/double6/passage3.nsf/(Loo By train, it lies on the railway line from Gare St. Lazare to Nanterre/Maisons Lafitte, but there is no convenient way to get to St. Lazare from CDG (Roissybus from exit 30 stops in front of the Opéra, from where you would have to walk to St. Lazare - only 10 minutes but no fun with luggage) and anyway this would only be useful if the place you are going to in Asnières is very close to the station.

I see four options:
1. Taxi - about 50€ 2. Bus/Taxi Air France bus line 2 to Porte Maillot now 14€ Taxi from Porte Maillot - maybe 10€ 3. Bus/Bus/Métro/taxi - Bus - Air France bus line 2 to Porte Maillot Bus - Direction : PORTE DES LILAS, from GENERAL KOENIG-PALAIS des CONGRES to PORTE de CLICHY Métro line 13 - Direction : Asnieres-Gennevilliers Les Courtilles to Gabriel-Peri taxi - from Gabriel-Peri 4. Shuttle service - must be arraigned in advance http://www.paris-blue-airport-shuttle.fr/ Private shuttle from 1 to 8 people – 60€ to 100€ Shared ride from 1 to 8 people – 45€ to 12.50€ per person http://www.shuttle-inter.com/ Private shuttle from 1 to 3 people – 70€ Private shuttle 4 to 8 people – 75 to 110€ Summary - If you have luggage, I highly recommend either taxi or shuttle.
