Mazatlán Travel Forum

I am getting married in Mazatlan next February and wanted to know if any one could refer me to a local wedding planner?

Wedding planers aren't really widespread in Mexico -- let alone in a relatively "small" town such as Mazatlan. You could probably find some in Mex City and surroundings, or in one of our 2 other biggest cities, but I don't think there is such thing in Mazatlan. People love to organize their weddings by themselves and with their relatives' help, so it isn't a very profitable activity and there aren't many people offering these services as there are in other places such as USA.

I think that, if you don't know anyone in Mazatlan who can help you locally and you won't be there either, you're better off searching for each service you will need separately on the web (florists, caterers, hairdresser, ballroom, etc). You might be able to find some companies listed on the net or that may even have websites which you can contact them through. It will be hard to find companies that have websites in english though..... but try using google.com.mx and you might find something.... good luck.

Contact your hotel. I know most in town have a concierge that will help you.
