http://www.whichbudget.com/ is always for finding budget flights.

Your possibilities are:

London Gatwick - Venice Marco Polo: easyjet, Thomsonfly and flyThomasCook

London Stansted - Venice Treviso: Ryanair

London Gatwick - Verona: Germanwings

London Stansted - Verona: Thomsonfly

Hello,

you wrote in the title London - Venice and in the description Venice - London. I think you`re looking for return-flights !

What would you say to EUR 129,00 ?? To Venice and back to London !!

Pls. watch this link:

http://www.edreams.com/edreams/shared/amadeus3/FareItineraryView.jhtml;$sessionid$Q4Y50MR15Q1CZQFISY0R3KWAVCLC0IV0?_requestid=7935

Unfortunately you didn`t write the date.

To get a price I tried the 1st Oct - 07th Oct ...

(The operator is British Airways)

Have a nice time in Venice ...

Take care !

Many greetings from Montréal,

Juergen

Juergen

Is it getting late in Montreal?

It is London - Venice on both title and description.

easyjet is EUR 21 than BA on same dates.

kamatoula

expedia does NOT give the cheapest - they didn't even show easyjet in my search. It's always cheaper to book directly on easyjet webpage.

Still I`m waiting for a little cold air ... it was SO hot today !! Its good to know that the "cold time" comes SOON :-) :-) ...

" EUR 21 " than BA ? You meant, easyjet is EUR 21 cheaper than BA ? Right ?

Good to know .. there are so many deals .. its really amazing !

Take care, Juergen

Hi Juergen

Maybe it's too early in the morning here;-)

Of course it should have been:
easyjet is EUR 21 cheaper than BA

Easyjet price quote, like all budget airlines, will not include extras.....certainly there will be a charge for hold baggage, if the OP takes any.

I've found Easyjet flights from Gatwick at the beginning of October for 72.98GBP return (including hold baggage). This is very good value, imo.

Of course the train takes a long time: it's a long way! You could (eventually) get there by coach (www.eurolines.com) but that would take even longer although it would be cheapest.

A budget carrier from the UK will always be cheapest and fastest, unless you are looking a very long way in advance and happen upon a good deal with a mainstream carrier (unlikely).

Using Expedia/edreams/whatever will not be helpful for what you want (they do not include all budget carriers) so you should look at www.whchbudget.com and www.harefares.com

www.flightmapping.com will tell you which carriers serve Venice (Marco Polo and Treviso), and where they fly from. You may find a cheaper flight from, say, Birmingham which is worth paying the coach fare from London....this is sometimes the case if there is a sale.

For travel from the UK on specific dates look at www.skyscanner.net which includes budget carriers in its listings.
