weather and water temperature for Blue Bay mid October

I have been to Mauritius before but it was February and quite lovely and warm all around. We're going again mid October, does anyone know what the water temperature might be like at Blue Bay (Le Shandrani, near airport) and also the weather there at that time of year? I'm worried I'll be too cold! Thanks.

Hi it will be approaching the end of winter and the beginning of summer so should be heating up by then, though will be cooler than when you went in February. 26C average in Feb and 24C average in October for the south with sea temps a degree or two lower. It is cooler on the south coast than north and west as it gets more wind anyway. I have been in Blue Bay April and we had perfect weather. Having said that the past few years have seen it wetter, particularly earlier this year. Shandrani is a great hotel. Have a lovely time.
