Several years ago (2003) I met Americans Holly and Bill who owned a vacation rental in G-P. I do not remember the name of their rental but it sat right along a beautiful (small) river that ran through the city. Am trying to find out if they are still the owners and how to reach them so that I can return to their place. Much thanks to anyone who knows the rental market in G-P and might know these wonderful people.

Perhaps you remember the name of their business when you see it?

For that purpose go to the telephone directory:

Put the word "Gästehaus" (Gaestehaus) in the name box, and "Garmisch-Partenkirchen" in the location box. A list of Gästehäuser will appear, even if their name is only "Haus... (something)".

I thought the name "Haus Aspen" sounded very promising, and it is on the river, but it is owned by two German ladies.

The river's name is Loisach. If you want to compare addresses from the telephone directory and the locations go to www.googlemaps.com and search for "Loisachstrasse, Garmisch-Partenkirchen". It will lead you right to the addresses along the river.
