Has anyone seen our team yet? Would they still be in Hungary, or do you think they may have crossed into Croatia?

If you have any sightings of, or meetings with, the team, please let us know.

:)

Hahahaha Claus - I just can't figure out why you weren't on the team. You're all over the place, like nobody I know. And your energy...unbelievable.

I'm sure there's no truth to this; but rumor has it they have been sighted in a bar in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Yes you can follow progress here:
http://blog.caucasianchallenge.com/

I chatted with Frankcanfly about an hour ago, they are in Macedonia. Having a great time and getting lots of attention in the wee car!! He says it's not so comfortable but he loves the car :-))
Communication with them is limited.

Good News, Pam - thanks. Did Frank happened to say how many people were competing? How many cars?

This is fun stuff.

This is very exciting! Could be the beginning of a great VT tradition. Like the Euromeet, every year another a car race across another continent. Or maybe it could be a calm Euroroadtripmeet? For everyone who has a car to drive all together in a caravan. What do you think Stephany?

I think there are 15 teams, some only 2 people.
I am not sure if they all turned up, but you can see a list here:

I like your tradition idea, Janet. How about a leisurely boat race around the Greek Islands.

What's a PPP?

Sorry I have been busy these days, but I was in Budapest for the kickoff party and the start of the race. I was able to meet the other teams and I took quite a number of pictures, so as soon as I upload them I'll post the link here.

Cheers
