Hi,
I will be travelling to Melbourne after spending Sydney for 5D4N. Only 2 of us travelling, so we will not be driving. Taking a domestic flight to Melbourne. Intend to stay in either Urban Central or Claremont Guest House. Any advices on these 2 accomondation? I intend to spend about 3-4 days exploring Melbourne. Also, I intend to take side trips to 1) Mornington Peninsula 2) Great Ocean Rd 3) Phillip Island 4) Dandenong Ranges Is it too much for 8D7N? How long shld I spend for each side trip? Overnight recommended for any of the side trips? We thought of taking day tours from the tour operators as we are not driving. But we hope that the day tours are not rushed as we wanna more time for phototaking and enjoying the views. We are on budget (not very tight though), is there any recommended and budget day tour operator? Would love if someone can share their experience too. =) We are more interested in Nature views (becoz we love taking photos on Nature), countryside experience,and not forgetting the main tourist attractions. We wanna make our trip a relaxing one. Thanks for all the incoming advices and suggestions!! =) |

3 or 4 days in Melbourne including 4 side trips, and relaxing?
Seeing the Great Ocean Road alone at a leisurely pace will require 3 full days. Anything shorter will necessarily be rushed.
