Athens Transportation to Piraeus from Athens
Posted: Sun August 31, 2008 11:07 PM UTC
My wife and I need transportation to join a cruise. We don't want to take public transportation for a variety of reasons. Would a taxi be the best way? How long would the trip take and about how much would it cost?

Private car for example. We used this method in Lima and BA on a trip this spring and will use it later in our fall trip in Cairo and Dubai.

Well I guess you could consider a taxi public transportation as it is available to all at any time. But then it could also be considered a "private car" even though it is a taxi because you will be the only ones in it. The only big difference is that you will pay more for a real private car.
