Oldest Memory

I first went to Puerto on holiday with my parents in 1970. This was the main resort on the island then as the south was undeveloped. Can anyone else remember visiting in the past?

We love Puerto and go there every year. There is the Lido - the really busy square ( enormous) always buzzing. The end of the promenade with the waves constantly crashing against the black rocks. Fantastic restaurants - no lager louts - if you put a search ingoogle there is a fantastic web site by a Finnish guy who give lots of tips. Well worth a visit. Much more Spanish than the south.
