Hello all...I am going to be in Cuzco,Peru for most of the month of October and I was wondering if it was easy to get a one way ticket to Lima at the airport or if it is recommended to book a flight before I get to Peru? Which is the cheapest way to go? Also, what are the cheapest airlines to search for tickets within Peru? If anyone has any tips, advice, or good or bad experiences I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.. Joe

As always, the earlier you book, the better fares. TACA and Star Peru have competitive fares while LAN has more flights.

to add to that. round trip tickets can cost even less than a one way. so if you buy both in advance, you'll get yourself a deal.

I believe that flights dont go direclt form Cuzco to Lima they go from Juliaca, which if memory serves me is an hour or more from Cuzco. VTers please correct me if I am wrong.

There are 20+ direct (non-stop) flights daily Lima-Cusco and Cusco-Lima. Just a few flights go via Juliaca or Pto. Maldonado or Arequipa.
