I am planning to visit Niagara falls,US side in first week of september..
can anyone suggest the better way to travel from cleveland to niagara falls,us side? renting a car or is there a public transportation? I m planning for a weekend trip.. actually I am in Chicago.. I am thinking of taking a megabus to cleveland,oh then going from there to niagara falls may be cost effective.. any plans or suggestions is most welcome.. looking forward for ur replies.. thanks in advance.. this is my first visit... |

You can take a train from Chicago to Buffalo via Cleveland (it's an overnight train), then take a public bus to Downtown Niagara Falls, NY, then walk across to the Canadian side. It will require a couple of transfers though because the Buffalo train station is out in the suburbs a bit.
Putting Megabus in there somewhere may be cheaper and a little easier. hth
