Looking forward to my first big trip to Vegas with girlfrined (we're 50). Believe I have most bases covered. Staying at the Wynn. Seeing Louie Anderson, La Reve, and Jersey Boys. Eating at Piero's, CatHouse, and Delmonico's steakhouse.

Will check out advice in forums but any ideas for other fun? Haven't seen sights outside Vegas. Any ideas? Anyone know best way to get chaise lounge at Wynn Pool? Heard cabana rental are outrageous. What kind of "sexy" ideas do you have? We're fun and open minded. Not big gamblers. Would rather spend money on eating, drinking, seeing, and doing.

Thanks,
Randy

The Wynn is an extremely nice hotel. I haven't stayed there but I know people who have and they were quite impressed. I've been in it - a little "stuffy". Gambling is mostly for high rollers at the Wynn. I liked the Venetian, you should see inside Bellagio and of course, check out the Forum shops in between Caesar's Palace and the Mirage. Have a blast!

We stayed at Wynn earlier this year and loved it -- we've stayed at a variety of hotels in Vegas and liked Wynn the best. I thought the chaise lounges were available to everyone?

I've always recommended Grand Lux Cafe to everyone, as it's casual, and really good food at great prices. The portions are huuuuge and usually my husband and I order one appetizer and one entree and share both. There is a new Grand Lux Cafe at the Palazzo, which is easily accessible from Wynn -- cross the pedestrian bridge, go into the Palazzo, then down into the Palazzo casino, it's near the back.

If you like Asian food, Wing Lei at Wynn is a must. Very pricey, but beautiful and fantastic food -- a special date dress-up place. Also the SW Steakhouse there is supposed to be the best in Vegas. Generally, can't go wrong with any of the restaurants at Wynn. Have a great time!

Rent a car. Take a drive to Death Valley, visit Bonnie Springs and Red Rock Canyon. There's a lot more to Vegas than the strip.

The chase lounge should be free. The cabanas are something new the hotels are doing for more income kind of a day time club with the topless pools.Red Rock canyon is out Charleston and Mt. Charleston. Shark Tank at Mandalay Bay all the big hotels.Have fun
