Is it easy to get a taxi at around 05.30 in Udon Thani to go to the Airport

Don't know about Udon Thani, but we stayed in Khon Kaen (also Northeast Thailand) and that town didn't have regular taxis.
We also had to be rather early on the airport and the owner of our guesthouse made an arrangement with a tuk-tuk driver to pick us up. Perhaps try and ask your accommodation for help.

vtveen is right.

Make arrangements the day before you go. Either directly with the taxi/tuk-tuk or if you feel insecure about it have your hotel arrange it. All you need is faith!
