| Turkey | Turkey in the winter Posted: Sat August 23, 2008 02:17 PM UTC
There are many tour operators now offering holidays to Turkey in the winter. The areas offered are around Side, Alanya, Lara beach, etc; can anyone tell me what the temperature would be like in November in these areas? Has anyone tried a winter holiday there? If so could you give me some advice and information.
Many thanks JANNCOX |

October and November are the best time in Alanya, Side, Lara, Antalya ect. Visit my Alanya page for Middle of October "A natural twister" I live in Alanya during the months April, May, then oct, nov. No too many tourists. Quite.peacefull. Most of the shops are closed but restaurants are open. It may rain for short intervals. But showers begin in december. Very pleasant. You can sit on the lonely beach and swim.

Trying to predict the weather can be difficult because of local on the day variations.
This information should be used as a guide only. Here is the average weather for Alanya for this time of year. Enjoy your holiday. November. High 70f / 21c Low 51f / 11c Rain 5.89in / 149.7mm
