Tanzania Tour operator recommendations
Posted: Wed August 20, 2008 10:26 PM UTC
Hi everyone,

I will be in Kenya in Jan 09 and am trying to work out how to get the best out of my time there. I want to visit the game areas in Kenya and Tanzania but am a little overwhelmed by the choice of safari providers.

Help from the forum would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have any recommendations of the companies to use. We have 2 weeks to spend travelling around the parks and would prefer small group travel.

Thanks in advance.

and, if you believe all of that, I have some fast business dealings I can offer you via the internet, starting with telling you I am the sole heir of a fortune and, if you send me your bank account information, I will split it all with you 50/50.

Please take my advice on the Kenya forum.
Do NOT accept advice from new members who are more than likely here to tout their business.
We've been seeing this sort of activities for years - it is not original to them.
Check out the KATO reports and ask/insist on recomendation letters and contacts.

Happy safari

In Dar es Salaam, I'm having good experience with Dave Barker who I'm working with on two trips. Both involve going to Mikumi National Park - close to Dar, uncrowded with hordes of tourists, and with all the same animals. He's also a native English speaker, which makes it easy.
INfo I have for him is
