Re: How to travel from Verona airport to Bella Italia campsite near peschiera del garda? Posted: Mon August 18, 2008 11:33 PM UTC
There's a bus from the airport to Verona Porta Nuova railway station, see http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Europe/Italy/Veneto/Verona-140824/Transportation-Verona-Buses-BR-1.html.
From there you can take a train to Peschiera del Garda (the next stop), which takes between 13 and 20 minutes: final destination of the trains concerned is Milan or e.g. Schaffhausen. There is also a bus to Peschiera, leaving from near the railway station. Probably you would then get a taxi from Peschiera station to the campsite.
Not knowing where the campsite is, I can't advise on convenience or otherwise of public transport, but you can do a lot from Peschiera by boat or train. If by any chance it is this one, I would say you don't need a car as it is very centrally located:
