Bristol Erasmus in Bristol

Hi! I am a portuguese girl going to Erasmus next October, at the University of Bristol. Can anyone please help me with a place to stay? What are the safest areas? I am totally lost.

Regards,
Marta.

The best thing to do is to look at the Bristol University Website for Incoming Erasmus students.
http://www.bristol.ac.uk/internationalcentre/europe/erasmusin/

The next best thing is to contact them and they will be able to tell you about the services they provide for Erasmus students.

Have fun, Erasmus is a great experience.

Hi Marta, Bristol is a fantastic place to be these days. In the past areas such as St Paul's had a bad reputation but the city has become much safer. Sign up at www.thestudentroom.co.uk where you will be able to put questions to fellow students. This could become to new myspace! Have fun & best of luck with your studies, Darren.

If it was me I would still steer clear of parts of Bishopston and Brislington and anywhere near St Pauls.
