If you want to see two quite small but very nice model trailroads you could visit Teddy Bear and Hobby Museum (www.nallet.fi/museum.htm, open at least on Sundays, usually from 12 noon till 4 pm).

There is also a special model railroad museum in the city of Kouvola (1,5 hours by train from Helsinki). For more details see www.elisanet.fi/pienoisrautatiemuseo/ , please). It is a good idea to check opening hours (by phone or e-mail) if you are going to go there. At least in the mid-summer it was open every day but I am not sure about opening hours in the autumn or in the winter.

There's also one right in the middle of town. I can't remember the name, but it's on Kaisaniemenkatu, close to Molly Malones. I used to pass it all the time.
