hi there can anyone tell me if there is any flamenco shows in cadiz during august 08 as my father thinks there is but i cant find any information

There used to be something every Thursday but not sure if this is the case in August. Are you referring to the 'commercial' tablao at http://www.flamencolacava.com/ as you can certainly watch shows in summer.

I think there are shows every weekend at pena flamenco - during the year I have been there, it's free in and it is the place where the people from Cadiz would go. When you go you need to get there early to get your spot, then you can buy a ticket for food and you go up and get your drinks etc from the bar all very social. i will try and find out more.
