Ok. here goes... I am totally afraid to check a bag for this flight.. I simply cannot have my bag lost during one of my transfers. Not only am I packing for a cruise that leaves on August 31st, but then I am also spending another week in Anchorage doing day trips and a 2 night trip near Denali Park. My question is this: Can someone kindly give me an exact breakdown on what clothing I should squueze into my carry on bag? I plan to ship a 30 lb box to Anchorage by 8/14 so I can at least ship my hiking boots and my down vest and my wool sweater. Please help me. I am not as rugged as this trip sounds and I really need advice. Nobody I know has done this trip before....
