am planning to arrive in Johannesburg in end sept for a 4 day safari tour.
as we don't drive,we need pick up transfers to Kruger.
we were reviewing a 4 day Kruger tour package from Wild Wings. Do any of you have any experience or comments about this agency?
do u have any other recommendations of other agencies or any other way we can go about transferring ourselves to Kruger and booking of rest camp accomodation??
will appreciate any advice!!
also, should I set aside perhaps 1 day for Sabi sands private reserve? Have read good reviews that game viewing is much better than in national park?

I do not know the company but from their web site they seem like a profesional operator. If you do not drive yourself you have little choice but be aware that for the cost of a 3 day safari with an operator like them you could probably do a three week safari on your own. My advice to anyone (especially coming to SA) is to be as independant as posible, you will see more, experience more and save lots of money.

Unfortunately, cannot help you with travel between Joburg and the Kruger. However, an excellent place to stay is at Waterberry Hill, which is 20km from the Numbi entrance to the Kruger National Park. It is wonderfully picturesque, and we based ourselves there, doing day trips into the Kruger every day.
There are also a host of waterfalls in the vicinity, trout fishing etc.
