I read about Valentin in The Times ( http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article3578739.ece ), and visited it in April. I posted some information on VT under 'Off the Beaten Path in Bremen' plus a photo.
To get there take the train to Farge (You may have to change trains at Vegesack). From Farge it's a 20-minute walk, or take a 71 or 705 bus to 'Rekumer Siel'. If you enjoy really long boring bus journeys, you could actually get there from Bremen just using the 71 bus.
You can't get into the bunker building itself, and the gate-house guard was pretty grumpy when I tried to talk to him. But it is just so big (I've now read that it was the second largest naval bunker built by the Third Reich - only one of the bases on the French Atlantic coast was bigger). You can walk the perimeter - although on the southern side it's a bit of a hack through the undergrowth (Don't wear your best clothes).
Hoping this helps.
PS. To make sense of the travel instructions, I suggest you get hold of the local transport map of bus/tram/train lines. Ask for the "BSAG Linienubersichtsplan" in the cylindrical kiosk next to the tram-stops outside Bremen main station.
PPS. And when buying tickets for Farge at the automats in Bremen main station, look under the 'local tickets' section (not the DB train section) - and if you've already a day ticket for Bremen transport e.g. a Tageskarte, you'll be wanting to buy anschluss/extension tickets. If it's all too much, just ask someone in a railway uniform for help.
