There were people handing out flyers everyday when we were there in June so there is an indian but i didn't remember the name. Also i know we passed it on the little road train that goes around the town and think its on one of the backstreets near the main supermarket on the opposite side of the river- maybe ask the train man!?! or look out for the flyers on the main bridge

It's called the Punjab Palace - the food is fine if a little pricey compared to Portuguese restaurants.

To reach it cross the bridge from the market hall/Vila Gale Hotel and turn left when you reach the other end. It's about 100 metres down on the right. Or cross the Roman Bridge from the town hall, take the road immediately opposite, when you reach the far end turn right and it's quite a trek along that road on the left
