Rhodes (Island) Travel Forum

My stay in Rhodes with my wife and daughter in October is too short that we have only one day to tour the Old Town. Anyone have any suggestion on how we can maximize this one day sightseeing? I am thinking of a driver with a car and can take us anywhere we want to from morning till late in the afternoon to get ready to go to the Diagoras Airport bound for Cyprus. Your advice will be appreciated.

We also had one day to visit Rhodes as we were in a cruise. We visited all the city. The distances are not too large and you will probably enter in the palaces, museums, churches etc. Do not miss the old town with the palace of the Grand Master (two museums inside), the city walls and gates, Mandraki port, Knights street, the Clock tower... Only for the Acropolis you might need a transport (though we went and came back walking), but you can take a taxi just for this purpose.

I agree, you don't need a car. Walk around in the old city and enjoy the views at the mandraki old port.
