Temperature at the beginning of October

Hi all,

What will be the temperature in Petra at the beginning of October? I worry it might be a little bit too hot to visit this place. Am I wrong?

Hi Nic,

Since you're planning on going to Petra in the beginning of October, why not join us at 29-30 Sept.

We've got about 20 people signed up from VT now.

Average temps for Ma'an are 20 - 24 in Sept and Oct. Petra isn't too far from there.

Trying to predict the weather can be difficult because of local on the day variations.
This information should be used as a guide only.

Hi Ricky,

Can I ask where you found info direct on Petra? Everywhere I looked there was no direct forecast or average for Petra only for area around it.

Petra is I believe in the Ma'An area of Jordan.

Well yes, but the averages I found were *very* different than those you posted - and the heights have different temps... Wadi Rum is a lot closer - but a lot hotter also.

The geography and names I am familiar with. In Hebrew we call in Arava...
