| Los Angeles | Accommodation in LA area.... Posted: Thu August 7, 2008 05:10 PM UTC
Hello,
I'll be In LA end of September for a week. My interest is the Beach and Native American cultures. I am looking at a cheap place to stay something simple, but don't have a clue about which area should I stay, I want not far from the Beach if possible, Also does anyone know about native American Museums or places I should go to? Any informations would be of a great help. Thank you for your time |

The best of Native Americans history can be found in Washington, DC at The National Museum of American Indian. Los Angeles, California does not have one, per se, but there are Native American displays around and the only one that is worthy is the Southwest Museum of the American Indian, which I believe is closed till 2010. Is you really want to see the best then head for Washington DC, not California.
