Kuala Lumpur Novotel or Prince Hotel ?
Posted: Thu August 7, 2008 08:17 AM UTC
Hi,

I'm going to KL on November, and now considering either Novotel or Prince Hotel to stay. Both prices are quite ok, Novotel promotion rate is 240 MYR and Prince is about 300 MYR.

Although Prince slightly higher, but it doesn't make any different to us, of course a little save can put it up for shopping.

Anyone stay there before, and any comments ?

Thanks!!

Novotel is nearer to KLCC. Prince nearer to Pavilion, Starhill,Crafts Complex ( Bukit Bintang area).

I never enter the room, just pass by. from the front elevation both looks OK.

Hi!

My recomendation is Novotel mainly because its in better location and newer as compare to Price. Novotel is sandwhiched btw Pavilion KL Mall (there is a pedestrian link conecting the hotel and the mall) and the Petronas Towers via KL Convention Centre (abt 10-15mins walk frm the hotel). Prince is still a good hotel but location wise, its slightly further frm those places I mentioned (mybe 10mins to Pavilion, 20-30mins to Petronas Towers) as compare to Novotel.

Hi,

I have only stayed at the Novotel (not the Prince) but due to my son staying there often we have experience of this hotel. Last year hubby and I stayed at the Novotel as my son and his fiancee were staying there at the time, then we came back after travelling and stayed at the nearbye Crowne Plaza. We were paying almost double at the Crowne but certainly didn't feel it was worth it. My son tells me that the Novotel has fixed up its problems that he's experienced in the past re slow service etc. and when he stayed there for 3 weeks (returning 2 weeks ago) they were very happy with both the room and service there. We have also stayed at the Shang ri la but we prefer the location of the Novotel. If you have any more specific questions please don't hestitate to ask.
