Christchurch Hiring snow shoes
Posted: Thu August 7, 2008 08:13 AM UTC
Does anyone know anywhere near Christchurch that rents snow shoes? I have a pair and Mt Hutt allow for snow shoeing but they don't rent any, and my boyfriend would like to join me...

Can't find anything online... any help would be appreciated.

Shelley:)

I am rather sure that the ski rental shops in Methven also hire snow shoes.

Big Al's for example, hires Tubbs snow shoes.

Check out here:

The shop is right in the town centre.

A lot of snow at Mt. Hutt at the moment!

No problem :-)

When will you head to Mt. Hutt?

BTW Yesterday it snowed like crazy in Christchurch. Although most of the snow melted away today there wa still a lot of snow along the roads up the Port Hills.
