hi guys i was thinkin of south africa then seychelles/maldives/mauritis for honeymoon middle of aug next year but im worried bout the weather because i hear its winter in these places. my fiance and i really like the heat (ie loved eqypt and thailand in july and las vegas, all high 30's 40's) are we going to be really disappointed? are we better considering dubai, or where else?? any help appreciated

Mauritius in August is low to mid 20's during the day and cool evenings.

Dubai would be a really good option if you love the heat! In August ist's very hot there!
However, it's not as romantic a destination as Mauritius. It's a huge city at the beach, with lots of shopping, crazy buildings and building sites!
However, about 2 hours drive from Dubai at the Indian Ocean there is a romantic resort called "Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay". This is a very luxurious accommodation in the middle of nowhere! But very romantic, perfect for a honeymoon.
Or why don't you check out Oman? It will be very hot there as well! And you can combine a beach holiday with a few days of an interesting roundtrip, exploring the country? (the north of Oman is interesting!)
As hotels I could recommend: Shangri La Al Bandar or Shangri La Al Husn or Al Bustan Palace. These three hotels are in a private bay and you've got a bit of privacy there!
