Hi! An excursion to Merzouga is absolutely worth it. The Hotel Ali in Marrakech organizes trips out to the desert, departing almost every day, for limited groups (what can fit in a minivan). It includes Ait Bennadou, a night in Merzouga and back via the Dades Gorge. Very unforgettable & very much worth it. I'm pretty sure that you don't have to be a guest of the hotel.

I do it with my girlfriend.
I think the best hostel is Auberge Oasis. You can see the website at http://www.auberge-oasis.net/ (I think is only in french in the moment) You can call Ali Oubana at (00) 212 61739041 From Fred and Catherine. Have a nice trip.

hi,
there are 2 days excursions or moere if you have time.the desert deserves more than 2 days , and this would be clear when you see by your eyes.I had been to merzouga last March , and there I met really nice people and saw very wonderful landscapes, especially in Hassi Labiad, and if you want more information you can just have aubergeoasis.net happy vocation

hi.
maybe u got troubles here guys.everybody advertised the aubergeoisis.the most hotels over there orgonised camel treks and evrybody there can arrange you your trip.i'm just asking how much could cost an overnight by camels with aubergeoisis?i have heard a bad advertisement about one of those hotels;auberge lahamada right to the sand dunes but far from merzouga;one of my friends paid 120 dollars to sleep in desert;why is that much????????yes wos included transport go and back to the auberge but wos a bad experience for her.......i might recommend you a special guy for that subject;i mean camel treks;wos a wonderful trip and not that much.amar speaks english and few japonise words;had a great english web site;send him an e_mail:omar@whitecamel.com. call him:0021268652285. you will be warmly received by his brothers in their small auberge. enjoy your trip.
