Hello everyone!
We are going to Cairo arriving the night of Sept 24 THUR - and leaving SUNday the 28th... I know we are going to Giza for the pyramids. Is there any 4 day great itinerary to follow?? Thanks! |

Yes, most places listed here are within Cairo or a little outside of Cairo, either way it will take you about 4 days to sightsee because you will have to allow for traffic. Go visit the Cairo Museum, Memphis and Saqqara, Khan el Khalili Bazaar and all of Islamic Cairo, Coptic Cairo and Alexandria. Alexandria will be an all day trip because it is three hours away (6 hours round trip).
Also, you might what to know that at your time of visit it will be Ramadan (Sept 1 to Sept 29). Things tend to be a little bit slower and laid-back during the day it may be a litle easier traffic-wise. Hope this helps. Have fun you will love it!
