Hi....we would like to pick up a rental car in Heidelberg and then travel down the Romantic Road to Fussen over the course of 4 days. Can anyone advise us as to who may rent cars in this area. Keep in mind that we need to return the car to a location different than where we picked it up. Ideally this would be near Fussen or Kempten. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Here are two of the rental companies we use for our staff. Since we have always returned them to the same pick up location, I recommend you call them to find out if you can drop off the car at a different location. Both are reputable companies.

Use Auto Europe, they are great we will starting in Basel Switzerland and traveling South to North in Germany, car rental was resonable, picking up in one area dropping in Frankfurt.

Try looking at www.one-waycarrental.com. They have several agencies who offer one way car rentals. I used them for a similar trip and it saved me ages figuring out who to call and what I was going to pay for a drop off fee.
