i will be visiting damascus for one month in october and would like to attend a belly dancing school. where can i get info from? eg, contacts, prices, thanks.

Wrong, wrong place. Belly dancing (best in the world) is practiced in Shuto Orizari, near Skopje. It's not an Arab, not even Turkish speciality - it's a Roma ("Gypsy") one. "Shutka" (Shuto Orizari) is the authentic place... Surprise, I know.

i think it,s hard to find like this schools in Damascus but you can find in Cairo ( Egypt ) many of these schools best wishes
