i will be visiting bulgaria in some time soon...i was wondering how long should i travel from Sofia airport to the train station going to levski and which taxi should i get best. Thank you very much

Get one of the official OK taxis from the rank and make sure he puts the meter on. The journey time is about 20 minutes to half and hour, depending on traffic, and should cost about 15-20 Leva.

As you are not happy about getting an immediate response I found this quite easily.
From Sofia Airport it is easy to access Sofia centre or the Central Railway Station by using the services of the city bus or a route taxi minibus. Airport is 6km from city centre. http://www.sofia-airport.bg/pages/content.aspx?lm0

I did this trip in the opposite direction from the bus station (which is next door to the train station) to the airport last April.
I took an OK Supertrans taxi – as recommended by the Rough Guide and all of the memebers here on VT – from the central bus station to the airport. With luggage it cost 10.60 lev (~5 Euro) on the meter, plus 2 lev tip.
